Katy Buchanan is a dedicated educator and entrepreneur with a passion for personalized learning. She is committed to helping students build confidence, develop strong academic skills, and reach their full potential through individualized instruction.

Katy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University and spent 15 years working in the banking and healthcare industries. After her son was diagnosed with special needs, she returned to school to pursue a teaching certificate, a decision that reshaped her professional path.

In 2023, Katy founded Bluebonnet Tutoring in Fredericksburg, Texas. As both a parent and educator, she understands that every child learns differently and believes families benefit most from tailored support. She has worked with preschool, elementary, and middle school students across a wide range of subjects, including Math, English/Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Writing.
