Katy Buchanan is a dedicated educator and entrepreneur. With her passion for teaching and her commitment to personalized learning, she has transformed the way students approach academics, helping them thrive and achieve their goals.

She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University. After 15 years in the banking and healthcare industries, her life took an unexpected turn when her son was diagnosed with special needs.

After her son's diagnosis, she returned to school to pursue a teaching certificate. In 2023, she founded Bluebonnet Tutoring, in Fredericksburg, Texas.

As a parent, and educator, Katy recognizes that all children learn differently, and that students, and their families, can greatly benefit from individualized tutoring.

She has assisted students in preschool, elementary, and middle school classrooms in a wide variety of subjects including Math, English/Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Writing.
